Darlington Dance Festival Mass Dance 2018

On Sunday the 20th of May we had the pleasure of providing sound services to Darlington Dance Festival Mass Dance 2018.  The afternoon of dancing comprised of various acts performing and running workshops as well as over 700 people taking part in the Darlington Dance Festival Mass Dance 2018.

We were brought on board to provide Darlington Dance Festival Mass Dance 2018 with a full sound system.  This included radio microphone channels and full playback for the event.  Our PA for the Mass Dance consisted of two stacks of D&B Audiotechnik C-Series loudspeakers.  As well as this, we used the Behringer XAir 18 for full control of the system including full processing, to accommodate the acoustic properties of the town square, as well as full wireless mixing.  Darlington Dance Festival organisers also required radio microphone channels, which was fulfilled through the use of our Sennheiser series of wireless microphones.  Finally, as there were many groups and dancers performing playback of tracks was crucial. Therefore we ensured tracks were processed ahead of the event, as well as having the flexibility on the day to accommodate extra performers at the Darlington Dance Festival Mass Dance 2018.

Organisers of Darlington Dance Festival Mass Dance 2018 commented that ‘the sound system is the best we have had for years, we can’t fault the service provided!’
